GeneSpring NGS (12.5 – 12.6.1)

Agilent’s GeneSpring NGS software (versions 12.5 – 12.6.1) includes data analysis workflows for Methyl-Seq, RNA-Seq, DNA-Seq, Chip-Seq and Small RNA-Seq data. GeneSpring NGS provides SureSelect customers with an easy to use QC, visualization and reporting tool for Methyl-Seq, RNA-Seq and DNA-Seq applications. GeneSpring NGS also allows the detection of transcriptomic changes like splice variants and gene fusions, or identify structural variation from whole genome or target enriched samples. Small RNA-Seq allows for the measurement of expression levels of known small RNA genes, mature miRNA and the detection of novel genes.

Agilent’s GeneSpring software version 13.0 and higher has an integrated NGS workflow with Strand NGS: http://www.strand-ngs.com. NGS customers who move/upgrade to GeneSpring 13.0 are grandfathered a license to Strand NGS 2.1. The integrated biology solution for multi-omic analysis will use both GeneSpring GX/MPP/PA and Strand NGS.Strand NGS 2.1 will be used for NGS data functionality and can export NGS experiments including Read, Region, Gene, Protein and Metabolite list for import into GeneSpring. GeneSpring is the gold standard to provide comprehensive statistical, visualization, data management, and genomic annotations.
